WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE
As part of the ongoing construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews continue rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Massey Creek culvert at the Eglinton Avenue East and Rosemount Drive intersection.
Starting February 4, 2020, for a maximum period of three (3) weeks, crews will work extended hours to accelerate construction. Construction activities will include excavation, welding, rebar, formwork and concrete works.
Due to the in-water working restrictions outlined by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, crews are prohibited from completing necessary work at Massey Creek Culvert during the fish breeding period from March 31 to July 1. Working extended hours will accelerate culvert reconstruction and ensure the completion of necessary work before the restriction date of March 31, 2020.
