What Work is Taking Place?
As early as, Monday, November 21, 2022, crews at Cedarvale Station will be continuing overnight utility works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West between Strathearn and Flanders Roads. Rolling lane closures are required to facilitate this work safely. During this work, Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane only between Strathearn and Flanders Roads, with traffic alternating in each direction. This work will take place at 10:00 p.m. on Monday until approximately 5:00 a.m. on Saturday for approximately three (3) weeks.
What to Expect
Overnight noise from construction activities, including trucks, can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the area. A traffic control personnel and/or paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Monday, November 21, 2022, for approximately three (3) weeks
- Construction activities are expected to take place at 10:00 p.m. on Monday until approximately 5:00 a.m. on Saturday.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane only between Strathearn and Flanders Roads, with traffic alternating in each direction
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
- The temporary pedestrian detour north of the Main Entrance site will remain in place during this work

- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
