What Work is Taking Place?

Formwork installations and removals are ongoing at Avenue Station’s Main Entrance site.

Formwork is the construction of temporary timber and steel casts that form and retain concrete while it cures. This work will continue to take place periodically Monday – Saturday through December 2021. Occasionally, this work will take place overnight as crews at Avenue Station carry out work 24 hours a day. Crews are currently operating from 6 a.m . to 3 a.m.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity including trucks, hammering, crane movements, and material loading, can be expected at all times of day, including overnight periods. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Avenue Station is a 24-hour station; crews are currently operating Monday-Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Formwork installations will take place at the Main Entrance through December 2021
  • Work will take place periodically and may occur any time of day, including overnight
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
