Designing the Future of Eglinton: Public Workshops

We want to hear from you! Join us at any of the three public workshops on February 19, 26 and 28, 2013 to tell us what you think about Eglinton’s future with the coming Metrolinx investment in transit infrastructure.

Metrolinx will be presenting preliminary designs for stations, including some inforamtion that was not part of previous consultations. Designs for LRT surface stops and alignments will also be shown. The Kennedy Mobility Hub and parts of the line that are currently under review by Metrolinx will not be discussed at these events. Read more »

Environmental Assessment Update: East Tunnel Alignment

Metrolinx invites you to attend a follow-up meeting on the east tunnel extension to just east of Don Mills Station. A public meeting was held in December to provide a project update, to present proposed changes to the tunnel alignment, and to receive input from the public on those changes. Now, Metrolinx wants to share the input received and discuss next steps. Read more »

Environmental Assessment and Mobility Hub Update: Mount Dennis Area

Metrolinx invites you to attend a public information meeting to learn more about:

  • a change to the west light rail transit alignment that will enable an underground station at Weston Road and Mount Dennis; and
  • the preliminary planning for a new vehicle maintenance and storage facility at Eglinton and Black Creek.

Metrolinx also invites you to provide input through a Mobility Hub Workshop that will help identify community opportunities to shape the future vision for the area. Read more »

Designing the Future of Eglinton – Event with Antoine Grumbach

The City of Toronto Planning Division is hosting internationally-renowned architect and urban designer Antoine Grumbach as part of the Eglinton Planning Study. Grumbach will be giving a public lecture to help Toronto understand how Eglinton can redevelop and reinvent itself for the 21st Century with the LRT.
