Update: Emergency Exit Building Construction - One Year Closure of Petman Avenue
What work is Taking Place?
What: Crews will return to the south side of Eglinton Avenue East to complete the Emergency Exit Building construction. A temporary closure of Petman Avenue at Eglinton Avenue East is required for the duration of this work.
Why: During this stage, crews will continue to relocate utilities, install support piles, excavate a shaft, build a stairwell, and construct the Emergency Exit Building. Read more »

Median Removals and Temporary Traffic Light Installation at Leaside Station
What Work is Taking Place?
To prepare for future construction of the Leaside Station, crews will remove existing medians on Bayview Avenue, north and south of Eglinton Avenue. Crews will also be installing temporary traffic lights around the intersection at Eglinton Avenue East and Bayview Avenue.

Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Investigations at Bayview and Eglinton
What Work is Taking Place?
- To prepare for future construction of the Leaside Station, crews will be conducting Subsurface Utility Engineering investigations along Eglinton Avenue East to determine the location and depth of existing utilities.
- Crews will drill and use a vacuum truck overtop of existing utilities within the boulevard and roadway, then a surveyor will examine the utilities to obtain coordinates for design purposes.
