What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning on Tuesday March 30, crews at Keelesdale station will be installing new hydro poles at Trethewey Dr and Yore Rd. One southbound lane on Trethewey Dr may be occupied for hydro truck staging to ensure safe installation. In order to facilitate this work, hydro may be shut off at 110 & 112 Yore Rd between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Should hydro outages be required, crews will turn the hydro back on as soon as it is safe to do so. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.


What to Expect

One lane may be occupied southbound on Trethewey Dr. The lane will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Hydro may be shut off to the following properties on Yore Road: 110 Yore Rd, 112 Yore Rd.



  • Crews will be installing the new hydro poles beginning as early as Tuesday March 30 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected.



  • All current traffic restrictions will remain in place.
  • One southbound lane on Trethewey Dr may be occupied while crews are installing the new hydro poles.
  • There will be no impacts to TTC bus service.
