Hydro Pole Installations at Avenue Station - July 25, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, July 25, 2022, crews at Avenue Station will begin hydro pole reinstatement works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, east of Avenue Road. This work will take place from Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks. Crews will operate within the existing work zones. Noise from construction activities including saw cutting, chipping, and hammering can be expected.

What to Expect

Installation of the permanent hydro poles on Eglinton Avenue West. Noise from construction equipment including trucks and hand tools can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the Intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Monday, July 25, 2022, for approximately two (2) weeks
• This work is expected to take place from Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration and/or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
