What work is Taking Place?

In fall 2016, crews began relocation of overhead hydro utilities in the vicinity of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West to prepare for construction of Forest Hill Station.  In May 2017, hydro vault utility work will continue, but within the existing construction staging.  Planned hydro outages are not required for this activity.

Timing

  • Beginning in May 2017 for approximately three (3) works
  • This work will take place between the hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion

What to Expect

  • Noise from construction equipment and trucks can be expected.
  • Material and equipment storage within work zones can be expected.

Traffic and Pedestrian Details

  • The existing traffic staging at Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain in effect.
