What Work is Taking Place?
On Tuesday July 14, crews at Fairbank will conduct road repairs east of Dufferin Street on Eglinton Avenue West. To complete this work, Eglinton Avenue West, east of Dufferin Street, will be reduced to one lane; for this portion of Eglinton Ave West, two-way traffic will be controlled by traffic control personnel and Paid Duty Officers. The lanes will be reduced from as early as 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

- Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

What to Expect
- One lane on Eglinton Avenue West will be closed while crews repair the road. Upon completion of the works, Eglinton Avenue West will re-open to two lanes.
- There will be flagpersons directing traffic through the area for the duration of the work
- Noise from construction equipment can be expected
- Local and pedestrian access will be maintained
- Property access will be maintained
- Expect delays while travelling near work zones
Traffic & Pedestrian Details
- The pedestrian routes at the intersection will remain the same
- Access to properties along Vaughan Road, Eglinton Avenue West, and Dufferin Street will be maintained
Transit Information
- No impacts to TTC bus service
Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
