What Work Is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, May 17 and lasting until Friday, May 21, part of Transway Crescent will be reduced to one lane to accommodate the installation of a new sewer management system. Crews will be installing a new manhole on Transway Crescent and connecting a sewer pipe to the Main Entrance compound. Work in the roadway will occur between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, and the road will be re-opened each evening. Flaggers will be present to direct cars and buses through the roadway.

 

What to Expect

Flaggers will be present to direct cars and buses through the reduced lane. Pedestrians travelling on the north sidewalk will be directed around the work zone. Minor noise impacts can be expected.  

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Work will take place as early as Monday, May 17 until Friday, May 21
  • Road work will take place daily from 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Transway Crescent will be reduced to one lane daily from 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, and will re-open each night

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • Pedestrians travelling on the north sidewalk will be directed around the work zone
