What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday October 19, 2021, crews will be preforming milling works on Eglinton Avenue West between Black Creek Drive and Bicknell Avenue. To facilitate this work safely, eastbound, and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one thru lane in each direction. Northbound traffic on Black Creek Drive will be reduced to one thru lane. This work is expected to take place on Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Tuesday October 19, 2021, for approximately one (1) week.
- This work is expected to take place on Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Work may take longer or shorter than expected
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstance
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced one thru lane.
- Westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one thru lane.
- Northbound traffic on Black Creek Drive will be reduced to one thru lane.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- The east-west crosswalk at Eglinton Avenue West and Black Creek Drive will be closed for the duration of this work.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- The westbound TTC bust stop located on the northeast corner of Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West will be temporarily relocated to the northwest corner of the intersection for the duration of this work [TTC route Eglinton East 32, 32D, and 332].
- The temporary westbound TTC bus stop located about 100 metres east of Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West will be removed [TTC route Eglinton East 32, 32D, and 332].
