What Work is Taking Place?
Starting mid-July, single curb lane restrictions will be used near Eglinton Avenue West east of Duplex Ave for surveying of the twin tunnels. As part of the general review of the tunnels, crews will be need to drill to the tunnel level and set up survey stations on Eglinton Ave West to perform the survey.

Timing
Starting as early as Wednesday July 13th,crews will first occupy the north and then the south curb lanes on Eglinton Ave west, east of Duplex Ave, for approximately a two month period to complete the survey of the tunnels below. Work is permitted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week.

Some noise can be expected during the brief periods of drilling.
Traffic Details
Minor traffic delays may be expected as single curb lane restriction on the north side of Eglinton Ave, east of Duplex Ave will be in place for approximately a month. A single curb lane restriction on the south side of Eglinton Ave, east of Duplex Ave will follow and be in place for approximately another month.
Residential side streets in the neighbourhood will not be impacted. Paid Duty officers will be near the intersection to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians throughout some activities of the work.
Pedestrian Details
There will be no change to the current pedestrian walkways already in use as the work will be performed within the Eglinton Avenue roadway.
