What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale Station continue with bus loop construction behind the station's Main Entrance. As early as Thursday, August 13, crews will begin the construction of the noise wall, on the east side of the bus loop. The noise wall will be within the station's footprint, behind the houses on Keele St, north of Eglinton Ave W. Work will continue within regular working hours at Keelesdale, from as early as 6:00am until 11:00pm.

 

What to Expect

Crews will be building the concrete wall to serve as a noise barrier. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity. There are no expected vibrations from this activity. 

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am until 11:00pm
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected.

 

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

  • All current traffic restrictions will remain in place
  • No impacts to TTC bus service

 

PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • Access to businesses and properties will be maintained

 

OTHER IMPACTS

  • Minimal noise from construction equipment such as trucks, excavators or cranes can be expected.
