What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Thursday June 24, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will begin to remove the sound barrier located on the north side of the Secondary Entrance. Removal of the sound barrier is required to facilitate above ground construction of the Secondary Entrance. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including hammering and material loading, can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Thursday June 24, 2021 for approximately two (2) days
  • This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Crews at Avenue Station are regularly operating on a 24-hour basis, Monday thru Saturday
  • Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
