Thank you to everyone who attended the open house on February 2nd, 2012 and sent comments to us online. More than 194 people submitted comments through the open house and online consultation. We've prepared a report summarizing all comments.
We listen
At the preliminary Allen Road/Eglinton West station design Open House and in the online consultation, many local residents highlighted their preference for a south-side station entrance to access The Crosstown.
Based on this feedback, an additional open house was held on March 28th, followed by an online consultation to share south entrance design options and a report summarizing all feedback received was created. For more information and to view the south entrance options go here.
Next steps
- Construction work related to tunnelling is scheduled to begin at Allen Road in late 2012.
- The Station itself will begin construction in 2014.
