WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

To facilitate the ongoing utility relocation at the future Kennedy Station, there will be overnight closures of the Temporary Access Road.

Work began on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and was scheduled for approximately three (3) nights. Due to extreme cold temperatures the work was incomplete. Crews will resume sleeving out wires on the hydro lines at the temporary access road on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

TIMING

  • Began on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and will resume on Tuesday January 29, 2019.
  • Work will begin at 2:30 a.m. until 5:30 a.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Closure of the temporary access road.
  • Pedestrian routes will remain open during this work.
  • Expect delays when traveling near work zones.

TTC IMPACTS

  • Closure of the temporary access road.
  • Overnight eastern route buses will enter the station via Kennedy Road and Transway Crescent.
