What Work is Taking Place?

Crews continue the rehabilitation the Wynford Drive Bridge as part of the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. Works include deck replacement, reinforcement and repairs to the abutments and beams to the bridge. Bridge rehabilitation works require traffic on Eglinton Avenue East to be shifted to the north side of Eglinton Avenue East to allow work to proceed on the south side.

Generators will be onsite to facilitate site services throughout the winter months. It may run continuously, including overnight between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. for the next six (6) months. Generators will be placed on the south side of the working zone, away from residential properties.

All works are in support of the construction of the Crosstown LRT tracks and guideway (dedicated transit lane) in the center of Eglinton Avenue East.
