What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Thursday, August 4, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will work overnight to perform traffic signal installation and line painting works on the west side of Eglinton Avenue and Oakwood Avenue. This work is expected to take place for one (1) night between 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Rolling lane closures are required to complete this work. Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Traffic lanes will reopen upon completion of the work.
What to Expect
Noise from construction equipment including trucks and hammers can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Thursday, August 4, 2022, starting at 8:00 p.m. for approximately five (5) hours
- This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- All TTC stops are expected to remain in their current locations.
- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
