What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Kennedy Station will be replacing the rail ties on the existing track at the southern end of the newly constructed platform. Works will be performed overnight between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. These activities are in preparation for upcoming GO track diversion works.

July 22, 2020 – July 24, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. 

 

What to Expect

Crews will be replacing the rail ties on the existing track at the southern end of the new platform. 

Noise from construction equipment and vehicles can be expected.

Site-lighting will be required for the overnight period. 

Site-based mitigation measures for noise and lighting will be in place.
