What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, March 17, 2023, crews will be constructing a parking lot at the northeast corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Allen Road North, north of Cedarvale Station’s Secondary Entrance. This work involves laying and compacting fresh granular material into the ground, to construct the new parking lot.  Periodic noise and vibration from construction activities can be expected. No changes to the current traffic or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., for approximately two (2) weeks.

What to Expect

Periodic noise and vibration from construction activities including, paving, grading, compacting, and concrete pours, can be expected. Concrete barriers, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate the work zones. No changes to the current traffic or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, March 17, 2023, for approximately two (2) weeks. 
  • Work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. 
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes as a result of this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION
