What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will begin the first series of grading and paving operations at Eglinton Square, south of Eglinton Avenue East as part of the construction of the future O’Connor Stop under the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Project. Work is expected to begin as early as Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
Hours of Work
- Work is expected to begin as early as Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
- Work is expected to take approximately one (1) day to complete.
- Permitted construction hours are 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
What to Expect
- Delays can be expected when accessing properties surrounding the work zone.
- Noise from construction activity can be expected.
- Equipment and material storage will be present.
- Heavy truck traffic entering and exiting the work zone.
Pedestrian Impacts
- All open sidewalks and crosswalks will be maintained during this work.
