What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Saturday, November 19, 2022, new pedestrian routes will be implemented at Mount Pleasant Station. All sidewalks on Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road will open. The crosswalk on the west side of the intersection will open. No further changes to these pedestrian routes are expected. Periodically, crews may be required to implement temporary pedestrian rerouting to facilitate specialized activities.
What to Expect
Reinstatement of the permanent sidewalks and crosswalks. Noise from construction activities including material removals can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
• As early as Saturday, November 19, 2022.
• This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
• No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
• All sidewalks on Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road will open.
• The crosswalk on the west side of the intersection will open; all crosswalks at the intersection will be open.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
