What Work is Taking Place?
As early as late-March 2023, crews at Caledonia Station will perform streetlight commissioning and line painting works on Eglinton Avenue West, between Gabian Way and Blackthorn Avenue. Periodic lane closures on Eglinton Avenue West will be required to safely carry out this work. All turning movements at the Gabian-Eglinton and Blackthorn-Eglinton intersections will be maintained. Temporary pedestrian rerouting may be required periodically during this work. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately five (5) days.
What to Expect
Lanes will reopen at the end of each working day. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Noise from construction equipment can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as late-March 2023
- This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately five (5) days.
- This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Periodic lane closures will be required on Eglinton Avenue West, between Gabian Way and Blackthorn Avenue.
- One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
- All turning movements at the Gabian-Eglinton and Blackthorn-Eglinton intersections will be maintained.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Temporary pedestrian rerouting may be implemented periodically during this work.
