Pre-Cast Panel Installations at Avenue Station's Main Entrance - November 16, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday November 16, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will begin installing pre-cast concrete panels on the exterior walls of the Main Entrance building. To safely carry out the works, westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane at the Main Entrance. This work is expected to take place Monday – Saturday, between 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks. The lane reduction will remain in place on a 24-hour basis while this work takes place.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity, including material loading, can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Tuesday November 16, 2021
• This work is expected to take place Monday – Saturday, between 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks
• The lane reduction will remain in place on a 24-hour basis while this work takes place
• This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane at the Main Entrance

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
