What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday September 7, 2021, crews will be preforming road restoration work along Industry Street. Industry Street will be reduced to a single lane for both directions of traffic in front of the EMSF entrance. A traffic control personnel will be present to direct traffic. The south sidewalk on Industry Street, between Ray Avenue and just before Todd Baylis Boulevard, will also be restricted to pedestrians. This work is expected to take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for approximately four (4) weeks.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activities can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the area. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present, while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Tuesday September 7, 2021, for approximately four (4) weeks.
- This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- Industry Street will be reduced to a single lane for both directions of traffic in front of the EMSF entrance.
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
- The sidewalk on the south side of Industry Street between Ray Avenue and west of Todd Baylis Boulevard will be restricted.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- No changes to TTC routes are expected, as a result of this work.
