Science Centre Station Traffic Update

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Science Centre Station have reopened the road and completed the implementation of the final traffic configuration. Over the next few months, crews will continue with finishing activities, including final road restoration, sidewalk restoration, tree planting, and street cleaning. Occasional, short-term, lane reductions will be required to complete these activities.

Construction at the station continues to take place Monday to Friday, from 6:00am until 11:00pm. Activities vary from deliveries to the work zone entrances, to movement of equipment into or within the work zone. General construction also continues within the station box.

What to Expect

Occasional lane reductions will be required into 2021 while crews complete the station and road restoration works. Crews will maintain access to businesses and residences through the duration of this activity. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity.
