What Work Is Taking Place?

The laneway located between Chaplin Crescent and Russell Hill Road, south of Eglinton Avenue, will be closed on Thursday, October 27, 2022, to accommodate electrical works. The closure will start at 7:00 a.m. and will be In place for approximately four (4) hours. Once the work Is completed, the laneway will reopen.

What to Expect

There will be no access through the Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway during the closure. Noise from construction equipment, including a lift, can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Thursday, October 27, 2022
  • The closure will start at 7:00 a.m. for approximately four (4) hours
  • This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will be closed
  • Vehicle and pedestrian thru access will be prohibited
  • Property access will be maintained from either end of the laneway
  • No change to traffic conditions at Chaplin Cres and Eglinton Ave are required for this work

TTC DETAILS

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
