Short-Term Laneway Closures at Oakwood Station - Through Fall 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

Through Fall 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will be required to periodically close the laneway north of the Main Entrance site to facilitate various construction activities including material deliveries and concrete pours.

This work is expected to take place Monday-Saturday periodically between 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Property access via the laneway will be maintained at all times. For more information, please review the complete notice.

What to Expect

There will be intermittent short-duration closures of the laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site, located between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. For safety purposes, no traffic will be permitted through the laneway during the closures. Use of construction equipment, such as a telehandler and forklift, will be required to complete this work. Noise from construction activities - including hammering, material loading, and crane use - can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the laneway. Crews will endeavor to minimize disruption as much as possible, while this work take place.

• Closures are expected to take place Monday-Saturday periodically between 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site will be closed periodically to through-traffic
• All work zones on Times Road will remain in place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• All pedestrian routes are expected to remain the same
• Short-term pedestrian rerouting through the laneway may be in effect
