What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Wednesday, November 9, 2022, crews will be constructing a sidewalk on the west side of the entrance to 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East. To facilitate this work safely, a work zone will be in place on the west side of the west entrance to 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East. Driveway access to 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted for approximately two (2) hours on Friday, November 11, and Monday, November 14, 2022, to facilitate concrete pours. The affected properties have been notified directly. This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for approximately four (4) days.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected. Access to the new sidewalk and driveway will be reopen upon completion of the work.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Wednesday, November 9, 2022, for approximately four (4) days.
- Concrete pours:
- Friday, November 11 starting at 11:30 a.m. for approximately two (2) hours
- Monday, November 14 starting at 8:00 a.m. for approximately two (2) hours
- This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Work may take longer or shorter than expected.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- On Friday, November 11, and Monday, November 14, 2022, driveway access to 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted for approximately two (2) hours to facilitate concrete pours.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- A work zone will be in place on the west side of the west entrance to 1720 and 1730 Eglinton Avenue East.
