What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday September 13, 2021, crews at Fairbank Station will perform sidewalk restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West east of the Primary Entrance. To facilitate this work, the south sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced between the Primary Entrance and 1801 Eglinton Avenue West. Access to businesses and properties will be maintained. This work is expected to take between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) day.

 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected. The sidewalk will reopen upon completion of the works.

 

HOURS OF WORK 

  • As early as Monday September 13, 2021, for approximately one (1) day.
  • This work is expected to take place between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected. 

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS 

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS 

  • The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West will be restricted between the primary entrance and 1801 Eglinton Avenue West.

 

TRANSIT INFORMATION 

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
