What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday, November 24, 2022, crews at Chaplin Station will construct a new sidewalk on the east side of Chaplin Crescent at Spadina Road. To facilitate this work safely, the sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrians will be rerouted to the west sidewalk on Chaplin Crescent. This work will take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for ten (10) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity, including the use of an excavator and concrete trucks, can be expected. Pedestrian rerouting will be in effect. Expect delays while travelling through the area.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Tuesday, November 24, 2022, between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., for approximately ten (10) days
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work 
  • Gilgorm Road will remain closed while this work takes place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The sidewalk on the east side of Chaplin Crescent will be closed at Spadina Road
  • No other changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
