What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday September 20, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will perform sidewalk restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West between Braemar Avenue and Avenue Road. To safely carry out the works, eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane between Braemar Ave and Avenue Rd. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. for approximately one week. Pedestrians will be diverted around the work zone.
What to Expect
Noise from construction equipment, including excavators and concrete trucks, can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Monday September 20, 2021, between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week
- This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane between Braemar Avenue and Avenue Road
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Pedestrians will be diverted around the work zone on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West
