What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday, July 27, 2022, crews at Forest Hill Station will perform sidewalk restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, east of the Secondary Entrance site. To facilitate this work safely, temporary pedestrian rerouting will be required (refer to map). Access to properties will be maintained. This work is expected to take place between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including concrete breaking, hammering, and truck staging can be expected. Temporary pedestrian rerouting. Periodically, pedestrians may be rerouted through the Bathurst-Hilltop laneway.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Wednesday, July 27, 2022; between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • Pedestrians will be temporarily rerouted around the work zone
