What Work is Taking Place?
As early as, Thursday, October 27, 2022, crews will be performing sidewalk restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at Warner Park. To facilitate this work safely, the south sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue East will be periodically closed at Warner Park. Flaggers will be present to escort pedestrians safely around the work area. Access to Warner Park from Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted. Pedestrians will be directed to use the park entrance on Warner Avenue for access. This works is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for approximately five (5) days.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and pouring, can be expected. Traffic barrels, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate work zones. Expect delays while travelling through the area. The sidewalk will reopen upon completion of the work.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Thursday, October 27, 2022, for approximately five (5) days.
- This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- This work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- No changed t the current traffic configuration as a result of this work.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- The sidewalk on the south Eglinton Avenue East will be periodically closed at Warner Park.
- Flaggers will be present to escort pedestrians safely around the work area.
- Access to Warner Park from Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted. Pedestrians will be directed to use the park entrance on Warner Avenue for access.
