What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, March 24, 2023, the sidewalk on the west side of Highbourne Road will temporarily close south of Eglinton Avenue to accommodate road restoration works at Avenue Station. The sidewalk on the east side of Highbourne Road will remain open during this work. This work is expected to take approximately one (1) week to complete. Upon completion of the works, the sidewalk will reopen.

What to Expect

Temporary closure of the sidewalk on the west side of Highbourne Road. Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking, grading, forming, compacting, and concrete pours can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, March 24, 2023, for approximately one (1) week
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The sidewalk on the west side of Highbourne Road south of Eglinton Avenue will be temporarily closed during this work
  • The sidewalk on the east side of Highbourne Road will remain open
