What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will relocate and upgrade existing overhead hydro utilities between the West Service Roads to the East Service Roads of Eglinton Ave East in preparation for construction of the Kennedy Portal and the Kennedy LRT Station. Existing overhead and underground hydro lines will be relocated from the south side of Eglinton Avenue East (South West Service Rd) to the north side of Eglinton Avenue East (North West Service Rd). Poles, switches, and transformers on the South East Eglinton Service Road will also be replaced. No work will be performed on the surface of the Eglinton Bridge east of Kennedy Road.

Outages will be required to switch services to the new infrastructure. Outage requirements and impacts will be communicated separately only to those directly impacted.
