Upcoming Traffic Changes at Don Mills and Eglinton
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the continued support of excavation works and utility relocation works for the future Science Centre Station, traffic staging at the intersection of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East will be changing
UPDATE:
Preparatory work for the reconfiguration began last Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Due to design issues at the pedestrian tunnel, an amendment to the traffic plan was needed and the work was paused. The redesign required the removal of one southbound lane (below the diagram shows three, but there will be only two). The work will resume on, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 starting at 7 p.m. and end Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 6 a.m.
Once the traffic set-up is in place, this configuration is expected to remain in place for approximately four (4) months for ongoing support of excavation works and utility relocations for the future Science Centre Station.
Hours of Work
- Preparatory work for the reconfiguration is expected to take place overnight beginning as early as Tuesday, October 9, 2018 starting at 7 p.m. and ending on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 6 a.m.
