What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday April 13, 2020, traffic will shift to the west side of Bathurst Street, in preparation for removal of the temporary traffic bridge and restoration of the northeast corner of the intersection. The new configuration is expected to be in place for approximately two months.
Hours of Work
- The new configuration will be implemented on Monday April 13, 2020 and is expected to remain in place for approximately two (2) months
- Implementation may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
- This configuration may be in place longer or shorter than expected

What to Expect
- Traffic and pedestrian changes will be in effect – please read ‘Traffic and Pedestrian Details’
- Property access will be maintained
Pedestrians Details
- The east crosswalk will close and the west crosswalk will re-open
- Pedestrians will be rerouted through the Hilltop-Bathurst laneway
Traffic Details
- Traffic will be shifted to the west side of Bathurst St
- One lane in each direction will be maintained on Bathurst St and Eglinton Ave
- All turns at the intersection will remain prohibited
- Peveril Hill N will remain closed at Eglinton Ave
Transit Information
TTC stops may be temporarily relocated outside of work zones or eliminated

Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
