TTC Stop Relocations - Hakimi and Lebovic Avenue at Eglinton Avenue East

What Work is Taking Place

As part of the construction of the future Hakimi Lebovic Stop, crews will be constructing stop platforms at the Hakimi and Lebovic Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East intersection. 

To accommodate these activities, eastbound and westbound TTC bus stops will be relocated at the intersection (depicted below) beginning May 25, 2020 for a period of eight (8) weeks.   

Hours of Work 

• May 25, 2020 for approximately eight (8) weeks.

• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion. 

• Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect 

• Eastbound and westbound TTC bus stops will be shifted on either side of the intersection. 

• Signage will be installed directing pedestrians to the new TTC stop locations. 

Pedestrian Impacts 

• There will be no impacts to the existing pedestrian routes. 

TTC Impacts

• The westbound TTC bus stop will be shifted east of the intersection. 

• The eastbound TTC bus stop will be shifted west of the intersection. 

• Relocation and re-routing of bus stops and buses is done in consultation with TTC to ensure construction can continue safely, while minimizing impact on the community and customers
