What Work is Taking Place

Work to replace and relocate existing utilities continues to make way for the future Eglinton interchange station. During this third stage, work will take place on the south side of Eglinton Avenue, east and west of Yonge Street.

  • Work is expected to begin as early as mid-May 2017.
  • This stage of the utilities relocation is expected to last 1-2 months.
  • Work is expected to occur between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with work after hours and on weekends as required.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • Occasional overnight work may be required. Metrolinx will notify the public in advance and monitor activities throughout.
