On Wednesday, June 19th, crews will perform a concrete pour in the southeast work zone at Mt Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue.  The concrete will form part of the roof of Mount Pleasant Station.  A concrete pump will be set up within the work zone, and concrete trucks will stage on the south side of Eglinton Avenue, east of Taunton Road, while this work takes place.  To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin early at 5:00 a.m.


  • Wednesday, June 19th, beginning at 5:00 a.m. for approximately eight (8) hours
  • In the event of inclement weather or delay, this activity will be rescheduled

What to Expect

  • One concrete pump will be stationed in the east end of the southeast work zone
  • 8+ concrete trucks are expected per hour
  • Concrete trucks will stage within the work zone and on the south side of Eglinton Ave, east of Taunton Rd
  • Noise from construction activity can be expected
