UPDATE: Final Road Restoration - Eglinton Avenue East from Eglinton Square to Warden Ave September 8,2021

As early as 8:00 pm Monday, September 13, 2021 and continuing each night through 6:00 am, crews will perform road restoration works on Eglinton Avenue East between Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue. To accommodate this work, traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected between Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue. Road restoration will take place between 8:00 pm - 6:00 am. Outside of these hours, road operations will continue normally. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue East. Traffic Details

• Evenings of September13-15 Restoration of westbound lanes. Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue East north of the guideway will be closed between Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue. Westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected south, with a crossover at Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue.
• Evenings of September 14-15: Restoration of eastbound lanes. Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue East south of the guideway will be closed between Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue. Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected north, with a crossover at Eglinton Square and Warden Avenue.
• The intersection of Pharmacy and Hakimi avenue/Lebovic avenue will be closed for the duration of this work. Traffic will be diverted via Ashtonbee Road and Comstock Road.  

What to Expect

Driveways between Pharmacy avenue and Hakimi avenue/Lebovic avenue will have restricted access for the duration of the work. Properties affected by this restriction will be contacted directly. Noise from construction activity including trucks, asphalt removals, paving, and compacting. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place.
