As early as Friday March 12, 2021, a new traffic configuration will be implemented on Eglinton Avenue West between Duplex Avenue and Lascelles Boulevard to facilitate ongoing construction of the City of Toronto’s Eglinton Connects Streetscape and Cycle Track design. Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be shifted to the north side as Eglinton Connects construction begins on the south. One lane of traffic in each direction will maintained on Eglinton Avenue West. This configuration will remain in place for approximately six (6) months.
The Eglinton Connects Streetscape and Cycle Track design will be implemented continuously between Avenue Road and Holly Street. Crews will work Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. with overnight work as required. As part of this work, the existing roadway, sidewalk, and any street furniture and trees will be removed.
For more information on the City of Toronto’s Eglinton Connects Streetscape and Cycle Track Design, visit www.toronto.ca/eglinton.
