What Work is Taking Place?
Four concrete pours will take place at Forest Hill Station between July and August 2020. The concrete will form the station's invert slab underground. The invert slab will flatten the bottom of the tunnel so that track can eventually be laid. The first pour will take place on Wednesday July 29, 2020 beginning at 5:00 a.m. for approximately 12 hours. See 'Hours of Work' for future pour dates.
What to Expect
Concrete pumps will be placed within work zones and several concrete trucks will deliver concrete to the site each hour. To allow for continuous turning of the mixer and discharging of concrete, concrete trucks must remain running. Noise from construction can be expected.
