What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday July 20, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will be performing wet utility works on the north side of the Secondary Entrance site (refer to map). Construction activities will include concrete breaking (chipping) and directional drilling. Periodically, crews will be required to use the laneway north of the Secondary Entrance to access the site. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.
What to Expect
Noise from construction equipment - including drill rigs, excavators, and hydro-vacuum trucks - can be expected. There will be use of heavy machinery in and around the Avenue Station Secondary Entrance. No utility interruptions are expected as a result of this work. Property access will be maintained.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Tuesday July 20, 2021
- This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days
- This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration and/or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
- Periodically, crews will be required to use the laneway north of the Secondary Entrance to access the site
- Short-term traffic interruptions within the laneway may be in effect
