What Work is Taking Place?
On Wednesday November 4, crews at Caledonia will be pouring the retail space roof slab. During the pour, westbound Eglinton Ave W will be reduced to one (1) lane only between Blackthorne Ave and Gabian Way. Lane reductions will begin as early as 9:30 a.m. and last for approximately four hours.
What to Expect
One westbound lane on Eglinton Ave will be occupied between Blackthorne Ave and Gabian Way while this work takes place. Concrete trucks will be entering and exiting the work zone. Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the intersection. Minimal noise from construction equipment such as concrete trucks and construction vehicles is expected.
HOURS OF WORK
- Wednesday November 4, 2020
- Lane reductions will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. and last for approximately four hours
- The contractor may not always work during permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
- This work may be longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- One westbound lane on Eglinton Ave will be occupied between Blackthorne Ave and Gabian Way
- No impacts to TTC bus service
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
- Periodic sidewalk interruptions – pedestrians will be rerouted to temporary sidewalk
- All crosswalks will be maintained
- All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
