UPDATE:July 12 - 14, 2021

In preparation for final sidewalk restoration works, a tree will be removed at 2293 Eglinton Avenue East. The removal of the indicated tree is required to safely perform the work necessary for final sidewalk construction. The tree removal has been approved by the City of Toronto, the tree has been assessed and cleared for removal by a professional biologist.

What to Expect

Tree protection measures will be in effect and environmental personnel will be on site to ensure tree removal is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements. Noise from construction activity can be expected. At the end of construction, a tree will be replanted at the location of removal.

 

 HOURS OF WORK

  • Removal of the upper and lower portions of the tree will begin as early as Thursday, July 12, 2021
  • Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected
