What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at the Rail Corridor continue west Rail Corridor development, including utility installations. On Wednesday February 3, crews will be inspecting the existing utilities in the area from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Traffic on Weston Rd will be restricted to one lane in each direction, north of Eglinton Ave W. Access to Hollis St will remain open, and traffic will be controlled by traffic control personnel and Paid Duty Officers. All current traffic restrictions at the intersection will remain in place.

 

What to Expect

Crews will be performing a CCTV inspection of the existing combined sewer system. A new work zone will be erected on Weston Rd, north of Eglinton Ave W. Around the work zone, one lane in each direction will be maintained. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Crews will be working from as early as 10:00am to 12:00pm  
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Traffic on Weston Rd, north of Eglinton Ave W, will be restricted to one lane in each direction
  • Access to Hollis St, Weston Rd, and Eglinton Ave W will be maintained

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • All current pedestrian restrictions will remain in place
  • Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
