Watermain Relocation Works at East Service Road - Kennedy Station

June 28 - September 25, 2021

Crews at Kennedy Station continue with watermain, storm, and sanitary system relocation and Installation works. To facilitate this work, crews will be occupying sections of the east service road on Eglinton Ave E, north of Kennedy Station. Beginning as early as June 28, 2021, short term work zones will be erected, partially occupying single lanes in the service road. 

What to Expect

Beginning as early as June 28, 2021, short term work zones will be erected, partially occupying a lane in the service road. Lane occupations will last between 2-12 hours daily and will be fully restored each night. While the work zones are in place, the service road will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, with flaggers present to direct traffic. Full vehicle and driveway access will be maintained at all times. Pedestrians will occasionally be rerouted around the work zones. 

HOURS OF WORK

• Work will take place between June 28 - September 25, 2021
• Work on the service road will take place between standard working hours
• Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances

 TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Short term work zones will be erected daily, partially occupying a lane in the service road.
• All lanes will be fully restored each night.
• Full vehicle and driveway access will be maintained at all times
• Some parking stalls will be impacted during the installation of watermains.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• Pedestrians will occasionally be rerouted around the work zones.
