What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank station continue to work on Saturdays from 7am to 3pm. They will be doing various construction activities including rebar and conduit installation, formwork, and backfill. All the work will be within the work zone. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while this work takes place.  

Hours of Work 

  • October 2019 into mid-2020.
  • Crews will be working as early as 7:00am until 3:00pm.

What to Expect

  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect noise in the area caused by construction equipment and trucks.
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.

 

Traffic Details

  • Access to properties at the intersection will be maintained.
  • The north, south, and east crosswalks at the intersection will remain open. The west crosswalk will remain closed.
  • Travel delays are expected with construction. Please allow extra time for your journey.
